Don Carlson (American b. 1944) is a man who followed his dream to add his contribution to the milennia old art of glass making. Forsaking a career in marketing, he setup shop in 1967 to make art glass, a profession he is still practicing.

His glass work covers numerous styles, with some evoking the pulled feather styles of the late Art Nouveau period. His trademark color is red because it poses special technical challenges which other colors do not pose.

He was recently approached by the Corning Museum of Glass for a retrospective exhibition. His work is represented in most major museums covering glass.
