A Flight Barr & Barr dinner plate with scalloped beaded rims with purple hand painted vine and flowers, possibly morning glories, encircling the rim. The basin of the plate is rimmed with gold, of which about 20% is faded or missing. The plate is in otherwise very good condition, dating to around 1810-20. The backstamp is incised FBB under a crown.
