An Indian bronze Ganesha holding attributes and consort, mounted on ovoid tableau all raised on rectangular plinth. The brass gilding accents the base as well as the ornaments of the figure. While in generally excellent condition, there is cupric oxidation on the left eye piece and a couple of patina losses as noted in the photo. The patina is dark chocolate brown which makes the brass accents all the more impressive. The bronze is a generous size and would have been found in the home of affluent Indians. We date the piece to 20th C.
