At 18 1/2", this retired and hard to find wood Mickey Mouse is well above average in size, finished in blond, and standing on a round pedestal with hands held behind his back. Excellent condition, stamped Walt Disney Productions, Mickey Mouse, Made in USA.

PS: Since my original research, I have discovered that this carving was most likely made by Kappy Co who had a contract with Disney in the late 1980s to produce 1000 of these figures, though I am not certain if it was per character or total across the line. In any event, the owner passed away unexpectedly and the contract was never fulfilled, making this carving a very rare find.

This exceedingly scarce example should spark the interest of serious and advanced collectors of Disneyana.
