With so many online and offline selling venues, why would anyone consider eTiqueMarket as a worthwhile place to sell or otherwise do business? We think that there are a few compelling reasons to consider.

Not to be confused with the movie Tora! Tora! Tora! we raise focus as our most important reason to do business here. We are all about collecting. We are not an endless flea market where you can find electronics, sports tickets, and used tennis shoes. We do eTiques and the past.

The benefit is that we attract customers and visitors who are focused on some bonafide collecting interest be it antiques, collectibles, art, jewelry, books, stamps, coins or even replacements, cars, or historic properties.

So while other sites may sing the siren song of massive traffic, you have to ask yourself are all of those people really coming because they have a collecting interest which you could meet? Or did they come to find some tickets for the Turtles reunion tour?
Collaboration
We are interested in making a marketplace which benefits all participants. For example, you may find that our category structure does not fit well the items you sell. We can adjust that. Do you need special advertising options? We can help you in that area.
Integrity
We have noticed that many of the larger sites presumably dedicated to collectors have a great deal of reproductions, fakes, and trash. Recently we found a dealer on GoAntiques who was selling a 1960s silent butler made in Japan as an authentic 19th century Continental antique. The dealer responded with a dismissive reply which didn't deal with the merits of the objections. We hold our dealers to higher standards than that.

You may have noticed that other sites have endless page after dreary page of modern reproduction art work or carnival glass or some other favorite collectible. We do not allow that here. We believe that this benefits the customer as well as the seller by keeping the marketplace honest and focused.
